About Opportunity

We offer Aromatherapy, reflexology, therapeutic massage & beauty therapy to our patients, carers & staff. You would be qualified to Diploma standard in a relevant area. Therapists do not have to provide their own insurance they are covered through the hospice. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within [7] working day, please contact the Volunteer Centre. [The next step is to arrange for enquirer to attend introductory day.] It generally takes around [3 weeks] after you contact us to get you started. This will be dependant on the references being returned.

About Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice

To provide high quality clinical, emotional and spiritual care for patients who have a terminal illness and support for those who care for them. To enhance the provision of care provided by the hospice to terminally ill patients, their families and friends.

Skills & Experience

A person who has good interpersonal & communication skills, gets on well with other people, understands the importance of patient confidentiality, has the ability to work well with other volunteers & staff, is reliable and is physically fit.
