About Opportunity

We require outgoing, friendly and dedicated people to help Children 1ST to raise our profile and much needed funds in partnership with our corporate partner B&Q. Volunteers are required to undertake can collections on specific dates in Scottish B&Q stores for a minimum of 2 hours per day over 4 days. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by phone email using the contact details on the right/select the APPLY! button. If you do not receive a response within 3 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. After submitting your application pack there will be arrangements to meet for informal chat. It generally takes around 3-4 weeks after you contact us to get you started.

About Children 1st

CHILDREN 1ST - the working name of the Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children - is one of Scotland’s leading child welfare charities. For over 120 years we have been working hard to provide every child in Scotland with a safe, secure and happy childhood.
