About Opportunity
The Administrator will often be the first point of contact for people telephoning or visiting the service. The Administrator will support the Co-ordinator in ensuring the smooth running of the service. This will involve responding to telephone enquiries and recording action taken, taking details of new referrals to the service and arranging appointments for clients, advising counsellors of any appointments made or cancelled by their clients and other general administrative duties such as typing, photocopying and maintaining stocks of stationery etc. We would aim to make the best use of the skills and experience of the voluteer and so would extend the role to include more complex tasks such as maintaining databases, producing publicity materials etc if the individual had the capacity and willingness to take on additional duties.
