About Opportunity
You will accompany the driver to pick up the young people from their homes and help them onto the bus, which has wheelchair access. Then onto the youth club or to a youth-planned excursion. At the youth club you can take part in activities and chat, if you wish. It is hard not to with our young people! At the end of the evening you will again help with boarding the bus, taking the young people home and leaving them safe. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us ideally by phone using the contact details on the right/select the APPLY! button, where we will arrange a time for you to come for an informal chat during which we will give you a welcome pack filled with information about our organisation. If you do not receive a response within 2 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. It generally takes around 1 week after you contact us to get you started.
