About Opportunity
The Pavement is the free paper for the homeless, currently delivering over 3,500 copies across London every month. Run by volunteers and doing what no one else is doing, it's been a success with readers. Now we are running a Scottish edition, with local news stories, service listings and a wealth of shared resources. We need people with journalistic experience, and the time to commit as a volunteer. About The Pavement
The production and distribution of the only magazine for the homeless, given out, free, every month in day centres, hostels and surgeries. With news, advice columns, and an up-to-date directory of services, it comes in a pocket-sized A5 format.
Skills & Experience
Experience in print journalism, the ability to chase stories and write copy following online details/tasking. Must be reliable.
