About Opportunity
Working in partnership with healthcare providers, volunteers offer basic head/shoulder/arm massages to help patients relax during an anxious stay in hospital. The service is provided over clothing in order to maintain persoanl dignity. It gives a real sense of relaxation & well-being to the many hundreds of patients our volunteers see every year. No experience is necessay as full training is given.

Induction - 2 day course. Introduction to British Red Cross & therapeutic care. Ongoing - refresher training. Other training as available.
