About Opportunity
A unique opportunity to help restore and maintain historic locomotives in the engine shed of Strathspey Railway at Aviemore. This is heavy engineering which promotes traditional skills and practices of times past. If you have an interest in Highland history, general engineering, steam power or restoration then you would be welcome. Skills which can learnt or used include - bench fitting, dissembly fitting, machining.
