About Opportunity
Outline of Volunteers Tasks/Responsibilities are - to source articles/pictures of interest to National Park Volunteers, conduct interviews & take photos as necessary, to set up an electronic template for the newsletter, collate & re-draft newsletter for distribution with programme. The benefits of this position would be improving & gaining communication skills, meeting a wide variety of individuals & organisations, increased self confidence, team working & the satisfaction of completing the NPVP newsletter! Contact Zoe if interested & get a meeting arranged early April! We meet 4 times a year and then volunteers write the articles in their own time. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? Skills & Experience
•An interest in sharing your knowledge of the National Park and Volunteer Programme. •An ability to write in a plain and informative way with a good standard of grammar and spelling. •Previous similar experience desirable although not essential •Confidence in talking to a wide variety of individuals. Travel Details
National Park Headquarters, Balloch (travel expenses will be covered). A computer within the National Park Headquarters will be made available on a hot desk basis. It may be possible to do some of the role from home e.g. the computing/word processing but office based to make phone calls etc.
