About Opportunity

We consider providing funds for a wide range of goods or services, provided the need arises directly as a result of chest, heart or stroke illness, and the goods or services requested can be shown to make a real difference to the applicants quality of life. Application forms are received from sponsors who are amongst others health professionals and social workers. Key Tasks - Receive and assess application forms for grants - Liaise with applicantion sponsors as appropriate - Liaise with Personal Support Grants Administrator - Liaise with other members of the committee - Attend quarterly meetings or other meetings as required

About Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland

Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) aims to improve the quality of life for people affected by chest, heart and stroke illness in Scotland. The organisation funds medical research and provides a range of support services for people in the community. We rely on a team of over 1000 volunteers across Scotland to help deliver services to people who have suffered a stroke or heart failure and help to raise the funds needed.
