About Opportunity
Training provided. Volunteer would be matched up with VIP. Volunteer would always phone Visually-Impaired Client. The VIP may be isolated and may not have contact with anyone during the day. The volunteer and client would agree on a suitable time for a call, set a time limit - usually 10-15 minutes per call, every 2 weeks. Expenses provided. The volunteer can always contact FSB if they have any concerns or issues. Support always given.

To provide services and resources to assist its clients in developing independence in the areas of travel, communication and living skills. To provide information about services available to visually impaired people in such a way as to enable such individuals to make informed choices. To increase public knowledge and awareness of visual impaired people and associated issues through the provision of training, education and advice.
