The Elm Centre is looking for someone to support service users with small woodwork tasks for example creating useful objects such as bird tables. The volunteer could also support individuals in renovating old furniture.

About Alzheimer Scotland Action on Dementia
Aim to campaign for improved services for people with dementia and their carers. In addition, the centre aims to: 1, provide housing support services to enable people with dementia to maintain autonomy and independence for as long as possible. 2, provide information, education and support for family carers. 3, provide person centered support services for people with dementia and their families.
Skills & Experience
A knowledge of basic D.I.Y. Someone who is patient and has an awareness of health and safety for themsleves and for service users.
Travel Details
The Elm Centre in Dumbarton East, close to the train station and bus routes.
