About Opportunity
APHL has a wide-ranging and often devastating impact on the lives of those affected and also their close family members. The majority of deafened people do not sign and do not develop a deaf identity. Their needs are different from those who have grown up with deafness. As an outreach Volunteer you will foffer individual, personal support to someone trying to come to terms with the loss of their hearing. You will be able to guide them to the services that are available to them and offer suport to their family as well.

Training and Induction Details
The volunteer is given details of the role and then invited to a day where they will meet other volunteers learn something about the organisation and the roles available and then they can sign up for an relevant opportunity.
