About Opportunity
Working in our busy furniture warehouse, you will assist customers and donors with the sale or donation of furniture. Duties include: cash handling and till operation; dealing with telephone calls; arranging collections and deliveries; assisting social clients; display furniture. Some heavy lifting will be required, but is not essential.

About Salvation Army
The Furniture Project is part of Perth Salvation Army's Social and Community work with a specific link to the Skinnergate Resettlement Unit. It exists to : 1) Reclaim and restore used furniture for re-use in the community 2) Provide work experience and training 3) To raise funds for the work of the Salvation Army
Skills & Experience
Ability to deal with the public;good local knowledge (for arranging collections etc); ability to lift furniture is desirable but not essential; experience of customer service/sales desirable; cash handling experience
