About Opportunity
Our volunteers offer gentle massage for people in stressful situations, helping them to relax and reducing their pain. Perhaps you could develop a ‘hands-on’ approach to helping those in need of support? Clients are offered a 30 minute session consisting of hand care with hand massage and/or neck and shoulder massage, given through clothing. The aim is to assist relaxation, promote a sense of well-being and offer the opportunity to talk with someone who is both caring and compassionate. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly volunteers to our therapeutic care team. Volunteers work at Roxburghe House and residential care homes in Aberdeenshire. No experience is necessary as we can equip you with the skills you need.
