About Opportunity

Commitment can be as much or as little as they want. The programme is still new but once up and running could be well used by teaching consultants for medical students.

Skills & Experience

Tolerant of learners, interested in developing doctors for the future, not too shy but able to cope with 'acting' roles.

Travel Details

Clinical Skills Centre, Centre for Health and Science Inverness (apart of the Raigmore Hospital Campus) You would be able to get to the hospital by bus or car. Car park fees are paid by the programme and a small contribution will be made to the volunteer for travel costs.

Restrictions

Young persons are acceptable if the parent is escorting at all times No upper age limit as long as independant

Training and Induction Details

1/2 day training covering several scenario sessions in which volunteers may be asked to 'role' play. Training in feedback information about medical training.

Frequency & Commitment

One hour for an interview, 1/2 day training session and then a seesion every 6 - 8 weeks. There is no minimun time commitment.
