About Opportunity
To be part of an information outreach project involving 40 people throughout Scotland. To attend one national and one local training event per year. Also volunteers attend a Scottish conference to distribute a selection of leaflets to people with arthritis, their carers, family and friends. The venues will vary but may include hospitals, clinics, libraries, exhibitions and local events. Additionally volunteers man information points or other information display tables once or twice a month. Time commitment can vary as required.

Ideally someone with arthritis or personal knowledge of arthritis.

Training and Induction Details
One national training event per year. One local training event per year. Ongoing one to one support as well as telephone support. There is induction training and role training.

Frequency & Commitment
Around 4 hours fortnight. There is no minimum duration a volunteer needs to commit to.
