About Opportunity

Red Cross theraputic Care volunteers are trainied to use basic massage techniques and provide a relaxing one to one 30 minute session consisting of Hand and arm massage and nexk and shoulder massage through clothes simple massage techniques aid relaxation, reduce stress levels and allievate pain for those who are feeling anxious, tense or ill. full training provided Theraputic care is available to people in hospitals, hospices, GP surgeries, psychiatric units, prisons, community groups and - on a referral from a healthcare professional - in the service users own home
