About Opportunity
As a special constable, your role will be to support that of a regular police officer. You will receive training in some of the most common crimes, powers of arrest, use of notebook, road traffic accidents, use of radio, officer saftey training and basic first aid training. You will then be able to attend for duty at your local police station. You may be asked to go on foot patrol with another officer, out in a vehicle or to attend major events.

Travel Details
Specials would normally serve in their hometown. If required they will be paid a travelling allowance. Training will normally take plave at Police HQ in Glenrothes. Opportunities to work at other stations or within special departments eg Traffic Department may be an option. Uniforms will be provided with an allowance available to purchase boots.
