About Opportunity

The is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience of working with children of Primary School age in a sporting environment. You will have lots of opportunities to learn how to interact with children and also gain coaching experience from working alongside a very experienced coach. You will be given the chance to work towards relevant coaching qualifications and also attend courses such as first aid and child protection.

To make physical activity habitual by increasing and developing the opportunities for children to take part in fun, inclusive and regular activity and contribute to the development of a culture that values physical activity as an essential part of a healthy and happy life. Activities are organised across the physical activity spectrum: from sport and dance, active play and travel.

Travel Details

Lossiemouth Community Centre. Will be expected to travel to the venue independently.

Restrictions

Only over 16s can be left in positions of responsibility with children.

Training and Induction Details

The induction takes the form of an informal chat, where responsibilities and committments are outlined. They will be given the opportunity to attend courses in badminton, first aid and child protection.
