About Opportunity

A volunteer fundraiser is required for a homelessness charity - Glasgow Homelessness Network (GHN). We are a voluntary sector and membership organisation with a Board of Directors elected annually. The opportunity would be ideal for someone who has previous experience of fund-raising and would like to use their skills to help people affected by homelessness. The funds raised would allow us to expand on our existing work and develop work in new areas. You would be joining a small but dedicated staff team which includes our existing volunteers where your experience and knowledge would help us ensure the outcomes for people affected by homelessness meets their needs, interests and aspirations. Our organisation has achieved an Investors in People award and is currently working towards our Investors in Volunteering award which means your commitment and dedication will have a direct affect on our ability to reach our goals. We offer support, ongoing development and training, access to a computer and telephone and the option to work from home. You can email, telephone or write to us, using the contact details on the right/select the APPLY! button we will respond within 5 working days and send you an application form by either post or email, and will be able to start you within 2 weeks of application.
