About Opportunity
The East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership and the Volunteer Centre want to see a healthier community and believe this can be achieved by raising awareness of health related issues. This is an exciting opportunity for a bank of local volunteers to play their part in this. It has been well documented that 'Volunteering is Good for your Health' and volunteers will be trained and supported to promote this message regularly at various locations in ED. Volunteers will also receive further training from the CHP on specific health issues so they can also regularly promote public health messages at these venues.
