About Opportunity
To make sure that our clients' needs are being met at the centre in line with their care plan. Specific tasks: - to spend time with new clients on their first visit to the centre - to read client profiles, discuss with the client and compile their care plan - talk to individual clients on a regular basis to identify their changing needs and review their care plan accordingly - to provide a link between day centre and clients who are unable to attend due to illness - to regularly update the client care plans - to liaise with the Organiser regarding people's needs and expectations to make sure that they are being met - to attend quarterly staff meetings - carry out all tasks in accordance with our policies and procedures.

About Age Concern - Glenrothes (VC)
Age Concern provides quality day care centre service in 8 different centres around Glenrothes. Our aim is to preserve dignity, prevent social isolation and to ppromote independant living for the frail elderly regardless of background and culture.
Travel Details
Public transport is refunded on receipt of a ticket. Car mileage is paid at the rate of 40p per mile on all approved mileages. Volunteers receive two outings per annum at the centre they volunteer with.
