About Changeworks

Chageworks is a sustainable charity whose work aims to improve the quality of life and to protect the environemnt through a number of innovation projects in waste, energy and transport.

Skills & Experience

Volunteers should have experience of home composting so that they can talk with knowledge and from experience

Travel Details

The Zero Waste Scotland project operates across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Changeworks will pay travel expenses for volunteers. Sustainable travel choices are encouraged.

Training and Induction Details

6 hrs of training on our range of waste prevention techniques & good communication skills. Training over 2 3hrs sessions at Changeworks and at Colinton Community Compost site at Torphins. Ongoing training as required including how to talk to groups.

Expenses are paid monthly by cheque and are as follows: Bus standard fares Car Mileage @ 45p per mile Bike Usage @ 20p per mile
