About Opportunity

As a Therapeutic Care volunteer, you will: - Deliver hand, neck and shouler massages over clothes - Attend placements such as hospitals, support groups or care homes - Promotes a sense of well-being and relaxation for service users with an opportunity for them to communication with someone who is caring and compassionate. You will need: - Strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy - An awareness of the range of needs presented by service users.

About British Red Cross

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to respond to emergencies and help others in their own communities by training volunteers in First Aid, Emergency Response, Skin Camouflage and transport services.

Volunteers should sympathise with the vulnerable nature of the client group they are working with.
