About Opportunity
Callander Youth Project runs a variety of clubs and services for young people aged between 11 and 25. We are looking for motivated, energetic and commited people to volunteer at our clubs, working directly with the young people we cater for. We run a variety of activities including Arts'n'Crafts, Sports, Cooking, Dancing, as well as issue based workshops. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested to build up their own skills base (communication, confidence, problem solving), gain valuable experience, meet new people, and gain new qualifications.

About Callander Youth Project
CYP aims to improve the quality of life of young people, aged 11-25, in Callander and the surrounding rural area by maximizing their potential thourgh access to the best possible recreational and educational facilities, support and resources.
Skills & Experience
we are looking for people who are motivated, commited and enthusiastic about working with young people. There is no experience necessary, as we will support each person through the process.
Travel Details
Callander Youth Project is based in Callander, Rural Stirling. We operate from McLaren Leisure Centre, which sits next to the local High School. There is flexability in regards to when volunteering is required as we run clubs/activities throughout the week. It is very much dependant on the volunteer's personal schedule. As for travel, we would ask that the volunteer could travel to Callander independently, with any travel costs covered by CYP.
Training and Induction Details
Induction will consist of an informal chat with staff at the project, and a trial period will be agreed with the volunteer to ensure that the opportunity is the right thing for both the volunteer and the organisation. See notes
