About Opportunity

Not applicable as we do not advertise externally. **FOR ABERDEEN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ONLY** In devloping and maintining this garden the Students' Association and the garden volunteers hope to achieve a range of goals. The original purpose of the garden was to spread awareness of the importance of the environment and the impact we can have on it. Through the production of fruit and vegetables, the garden also aims to promote healthier eating among students and staff at the University. It has also recently been established that having contact with the natural environment has beneficial effects on people's general well-being. The garden produce is also going to be used in the Fairtrade Cafe run every Wed 12-2pm at the Chaplaincy.
