About Opportunity
The Handyperson Service (Moray) currently provides volunteer support to the client-base by undertaking a range of small DIY jobs to enable folk to remain independent in their own homes. These people cannot usually afford to pay for services and do not have family or friends nearby who can do the work. There is no charge for this service. We have identified an increasing need for gardening work to be done, often on a regular basis, which our DIY volunteers do not have the capacity to support. All volunteers are disclosure checked and are given free basic volunteer training. All travel and out of pocket expenses are refunded.
