About Opportunity
I have attracted a very small group who are keen to help make the group grow and take small responsibilities. They all want weekly meet-ups and I am busy running the national charity, and cannot spare more than one afternoon and evening per month. We would like more volunteers to go on outings and people to run social skills type workshops plus a book-keeper for my national work.

About Outsiders
Self-help network of physically and socially disabled people. Helps to support and gain confidence, meet more people and find partners. Run the Sexual Health and Disability Alliance (SHADA). Run the Sex and Disability Helpline. Pilot Great Expectations.
Skills & Experience
Volunteers should recognise the stigma in society preventing people who are disfigured, socially phobic or with physical disabilities from enjoying life like anybody else. Disabled people or those with experience of physical disability preferred.
Travel Details
Social skills workshops - Cheshire House All travel expenses will be met if necessary.
Restrictions
Maturity essential, and the members need to be inspired by active drive and enthusiasm.

Training and Induction Details
I will expect the volunteers to read our website and familiarise themselves with our work. They will need to take responsibility for their work but I will guide, advise and support where necessary.
