RESULTS is an international citizens' advocacy organisation working to end global poverty. At the heart of RESULTS is our network of volunteer activists who work together in local groups to lobby decision-makers, raise awareness and campaign to make ending poverty a political priority. We would like to expand our network further and have an even bigger impact. We are therefore looking for people to act as 'hosts' for group launch events in your area. Hosts play a vital role by helping to identify a venue for an introductory event and by inviting people with an interest in development to attend and consider part of a RESULTS group. The event will be an interactive and inspiring workshop, led by RESULTS staff, which introduces the issues that we work on and gives people a taster of how they can become powerful advocates for the end of poverty through RESULTS.
