Aberdeen Safer Community Trust is a unique organisation, the only one of its kind in Scotland. Our purpose is to make Aberdeen a safer place, in which economic enterprise and the community can flourish and to protect people’s right to live in confidence and safety. Using different initiatives and grant giving we support efforts to •reduce crime and lessen the fear of crime, •generate, promote and sustain local community safety projects •deal with anti social behaviour including youth diversion initiatives, •encourage safe driving and a reduction in road traffic collisions •promote accident prevention and home safety.

Travel Details

The volunteers will be based mainly in our offices situated within Aberdeen College. Some other work may be carried out within different parts of the community.
