About Opportunity
RESULTS is an international citizens’ advocacy organisation working to end global poverty. At the heart of RESULTS is our network of volunteer activists who work together in local groups to lobby decision-makers, raise awareness and campaign to make ending poverty a political priority. As part of a group you would: • Meet with other like-minded people at local briefing and action meetings • Work on a range of development issues such as global health, microfinance and education • Hear first-hand from development experts • Take action by writing to, and meeting your MP, the media and decision-makers • Be empowered and supported to become a powerful advocate for change • Be provided with regular campaign updates and information on development issues RESULTS groups meet a few times a month including the first Tuesday evening of each month for a national conference call with a guest speaker

About RESULTS
RESULTS is an international citizens’ advocacy organisation working to end global poverty. Activists work together in local groups, which provide a forum for learning and sharing information on issues and campaigns, plus support and coaching in taking action. You will work with other like-minded people in your area and take action locally that will make a difference globally.
Skills & Experience
No special skills or experience are required. Activists should just have an interest in ending poverty and be able to commit time and energy to their local group.

Training and Induction Details
Full guidance and support will be provided by RESULTS staff and volunteers, initially by telephone and/or email. National workdays are also organised to enable volunteers to develop advocacy skills.
