About Opportunity
The Board Member would be committed to attending meetings every 6 weeks to be involved in strategic planning, overseeing finances, directing and employing staff and implementing the vision of the organisation. Board members may have occasional involvement with the service users, volunteers and staff through Project events, activities, outings, fundraising events and sharing lunch. An ideal Board Member would be someone who has a warm outgoing personality and has a desire to be involved in a service which provides companionship, care and activities for our older people in a welcoming warm friendly environment which has grown and developed over the years and continues to do so.

We offer day care services to older people throughout Dundee. We offer a secure and happy environment for the clients where nutritious meals, various activities, companionship and support are offered. The main objective is to support the clients increasing their independent living.
Skills & Experience
We would be interested in hearing from anyone with experience in any of the following areas: Older People's Services; Voluntary Sector Finance, Fundraising, HR/Personnel, Employment Law, Appraisals, Strategic Planning.
