About Adult Basic Education
Adult Basic Education aims to provide an opportunity for any adult who has difficulty coping with tasks requiring reading, writing or numeracy and to provide a tutor with whom they can practise and improve these skills in an informal environment.
Skills & Experience
Tutor base hovers at around 50. We cannot properly support more than that.
Travel Details
Community venues throughout the city and beyond.
Restrictions
Adult tutors from adult learners (although learners can be 16 plus and out of school).

Training and Induction Details
Nationally recognised Introductory Training in Literacies Learning course is applicable. SVQ Professional Development award is integrated into the training.
