About Opportunity
A shop volunteer would: Sort donations to decide what is suitable for sale Price, size and steam items. put stock out for sale. Help to keep the shop floor tidy, attractive and customer friendly. Welcome and serve customers, taking payment as appropriate . Previous experience is not necessary as training is given, but we expect a volunteer to show: Interest in the shop, and an enthusiasm for raising money for our work. The ability to work as part of a team; get on with other volunteers and staff in the shop with a commitment to equal opportunities, treating all individuals who visit or work in the shop with respect. Friendliness, patience and a commitment to providing a good quality service to customers. An ability and willingness to follow standard procedures and undertake tasks as requested by the shop manager.
