About Opportunity
We need volunteers to give talks and presentations within a 15 mile radius of their home. You will receive the training you need to help you fulfil this role. Your role will be fun as you will be giving talks and undertaking various tasks such as receiving cheques at presentation ceremonies on behalf of the Association. Through your talks you will be helping us to raise funds by encouraging people to fundraise on our behalf. HOW TO GET INVOLVED: You can telephone us or email us using the contact details on the right/select the REGISTER INTEREST button. We will then contact you and arrange to send you an application pack, which you should complete and return to us as soon as possible. If you have not heard from us within 5 working days then please get in touch with the Volunteer Centre. It should take about 4 weeks from initial contact before you can start volunteering with us. This will depend on how quickly you return the paperwork to us.
