About Opportunity

Perhaps it’s running the Tombola stall at our Winter Fayre, or doing a fire walk or helping us and our service users complete grant applications. Forth Valley Sensory Centre requires various volunteers to help raise funds to keep their vital services available across Froth Valley. From outgoing volunteers who may want to actively fundraise, to help with the administration involved in applying for grants, or helping put up posters to promote our activities. No experience required, just a keen interest in Sensory Impairment and a willingness to learn.

Skills & Experience

Friendly, approachable and willing to learn. A keen interest in our service user group. Previous fundraising skills would be advantageous although full training will be given as required.

Travel Details

Various locations, depending on the individual volunteer role. For example it could be in our building in Camelon or out in the community putting up posters.

Training and Induction Details

All volunteers are supported by the Volunteer Co-ordinator through regular formal and informal supervision.

Mileage rate is 35p per mile. Expenses are usually paid by cheque but can be paid in cash if required.
