About Opportunity
Volunteers will assist adults with disabilities attending the club and assist in the delivery of structured, high quality sports activities. The volunteer can improve their employability through this work experience. Help improve their skills, confidence, and self esteem. The volunteers will have access to free training and will get help to progress to paid bank registry work. This will also help volunteers improve their health and wellbeing. Tasks: • Assist in the delivery of sports activities. • Engage with participants. • Ensure all heath and safety guidelines are adhered to • Any other duties relevant to the post Annual awards ceremony for volunteers and bank register staff. Opportunity to progress to paid employment on East Ayrshire Leisure Development Assistants Bank Register.

Travel Details
Various locations throughout East Ayrshire. We endeavour to provide transport and always strive to offer an opportunity to suit the applicants travel requirements.

Enhanced Disclosure Scotland check (paid by us). Working with vulnerable adults and groups.

Training and Induction Details
Volunteers will receive free induction in training and be offered regular training courses. The volunteer will also have contact with a Youth Sports Development Officer.

Frequency & Commitment
Either or both sessions which run on a weekly basis – Catrine, Thursdays, 2.00pm – 3.00pm and Hunter Fitness Suite, Fridays, 1.00pm – 3.00pm.
