About Opportunity
The Bank of Scotland Soccer One programme is a training and games programme deisgned to give those children who do not play regularly with their school team an opportunity to stay involved in the game. The coaches we require would be responsible for delivering a set 20 week programme at 1 or more high schools across in their Local Authority
About Scottish FA (VC)
CashBack for communities is about providing opportunities for young people aged 10 - 19 to take part in free football activities across the country. As well as this, it hopes to create new volunteers and build sustainability in communities by offering discounted coach education courses.
Skills & Experience
The volunteer coach must be competent in the delivery of coaching sessions. They must be enthusiastic, reliable, welcoming and have good communication skills
Travel Details
We currently have 307 secondary schools involved. Training takes place on site after school once a week with games generally every 3-4 weeks in a nearby location.
Restrictions
Volunteers with a Level 1 coach education award or above. Knowledge of football coaching required.
