About Get Hooked on Fishing
Get Hooked On Fishing (GHOF) utilises angling and the environment to bring about better life outcomes for young people who are at risk of social exclusion. The GHOF training programme is based on a modular progression system, however the real key to successful intervention is the use of locally developed ‘Peer Coaches’ who deliver alongside staff, coaches and adult volunteers.
Skills & Experience
A background in education, criminal justice system, legal services, or sport at senior management level. Ability to work effectively in a team and commitment to the organisation.
Travel Details
The position will be available to anyone within the boundary of Scotland with the capacity to travel to Board meetings 2-4 times per year throughout the UK. Board meetings are likely to take place twice in Scotland (most likely Glasgow or Edinburgh) and twice in England every year.
