Drop-In Centre Volunteer

When We Need You

From 23/11/2009 onwards

About Opportunity

Volunteers are required to help out at the project's Drop-In Centre by both carrying out practical duties such as serving light refreshments but also by bringing new ideas to the Drop-In and engaging in dialogue with the service users to both encourage them to take up activities but also to develop new ones. It would be ideal if volunteers were able to speak Punjabi, Urdu or Hindi but it is not essential as most service users are comfortable speaking in English. **HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?** If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within [7] working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. [The next step is to make arrangements to meet for informal chat] It generally takes around [7 – 10 days] after you contact us to get you started.
