About Opportunity
The work will involve working with a small group of 4-6 people, assisting the Technical Instructor in coaching service users in basic woodwork skills and making a variety of wooden projects. Projects may include garden and household items such as benches, planters, bird tables, dog kennels, coffee tables, garden gates. The DIY tuition would involve a mix between group work or working 1:1 with a service user. The volunteer will under the supervision/support from the Technical Instructor at all times.
