About Opportunity

*The Disability Cafe is for people with any disability. *An interest in disability issues would be desireable. *Friendly personality, good communication skills and a car owner. *The membership needs to develop. *No transport available. *The possibility of a lunch club is being considered. *Other activities would depend on members interests (as discussed with coordinator). *Coordinator would meet occassionally with members of the board.

About Independent Living Association Forth Valley

A user led organisation for people with a disability or anyone who has a interest in disability issues. The ILA manages the direct payments support service which has three paid members of staff.

Skills & Experience

Respect Confidentiality, a good communicator, be able to work on own initiative, trustworthy, caring and a good listener. Must be able to drive.

Travel Details

Forth Valley Sensory Centre, Camelon. Close to railway station and good bus routes from Falkirk Town Centre.

One or two members of the board of trustees will always be available for consultation.
