About Opportunity
The Stirling School of English is a charitable organisation with about 25 dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers and an enrolment of abour 200 adult learners annually. The aim is to teach English to non-English speakers. The Chairperson will work closely with the Volunteer Manager, the only full-time employee, and the other 6 Board members to develop the school to its full potential.

About Stirling School of English
The Stirling School of English provides English tuition at all levels to small groups of non-English speakers. Training and support will be provided.
Being, or having been a teacher is not necessary, as appropriate training will be given.
Skills & Experience
Management, fund raising experience, working with volunteers, interest in education, respect for other cultures, enthusiasm, "can-do" attitude, time, leadership skills, vision.
Travel Details
Stirling. Meetings can take place either during daytime or in the evening, as often as required and at a place of mutual agreement, although an initial visit to the place of learning would be useful.
