About Opportunity
The Gen-Up project is an Intergenerational project which aims to create understanding and friendship between young and old. The project recruits S6 pupils from secondary schools within the Borders to befriend local care home residents for the duration of the academic year. Due to the success of the project we are now looking to recruit an Activity Assistant to help oversee the weekly visits of the High School pupils at Dunwhinny Lodge Care Home in Peebles. The Activity Assistant will assist the project Peer Leader with organising and implementing a variety of activities for the care home residents and will be available for weekly visits to the care home between 10-11am each Monday.
