When We Need You

From 22/01/2010 onwards

About Opportunity

All volunteers must attend a 6 week (one evening per week) training course prior to starting. Although some volunteering within the project will take place during the day time, we want to offer support at evenings and weekends which tends to be the time when problems arise. Although there is no set amount of time that a volunteer can give, the children/young people we work with often have experience of adults leaving them so we would hope that volunteers will give an initial commitment of one year. Monthly volunteer support, training and social events will be organised and each volunteer will be supervised by the Project Manager.
