About Opportunity
ENABLE Glasgow is a grass roots community focused organisation working with people with learning disability and their carers in Glasgow. Our Thomas Fortune Work Centre offers 70 full time placements to adults with a learning disability from all over Glasgow. Based in Drumchapel, the Centre has focused on the inclusion of people with a learning disability to make the best use of their skills and talents to the benefit of the surrounding area. Skills & Experience
Experience of organising and coordinating social events and functions; Respect for the rights of people with a learning disability; Excellent communication and networking skills; IT skils - experience of Microsoft Access & Powerpoint is essential

We pay public transport rates on submission of receipts/tickets. We will reimburse the cost of phone calls on submission of relevant form; cash float up front for activity costs, topped up by bank transfer when you submit receipts.

Frequency & Commitment
The successful candidate would be required to volunteer for an average of four hours per week plus extra hours for events or as necessary. Looking for somebody who can commit until the end of 2010
