About Opportunity

Urban Roots organises and coordinates environmental projects on the Southside of Glasgow. We’re so busy we often forget to publicise what we do. We would like to establish a regular newsletter that can go out to all our current and previous volunteers, produce press releases and organise more regular events that are ideal opportunities to let people know what we do. We are looking for someone who can spare a few hours a week to join the Urban Roots team and help move our publicity strategy forward. Please note that this opportunity is only available to on the Southside of the city. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? You should contact us an informal chat ideally by email, writing to us, drop in and see us or phone using details . If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within 3 working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. It generally takes around 2-6 days after you contact us to get you started.
