About Opportunity

Another project of Make It Happen!'s is Bairns 'n Books Story Sack Library. The project is being led by Etta Auld, who is a retired primary school teacher and has a long working knowledge of educational needs of children and parents. The sacks will be used as a tool for developing reading and spelling skills of the children, and can help with adult literacy too. Volunteers would help organise books, toys etc. update database resources, get involved in creating story sacks and taking part in craft workshops

Skills & Experience

Comfortable with parents and young children, enjoy telling stories and singing nursery rhymes. Have good organisational, communication skills
