About Opportunity
Activities can include going to cinema or any otheragreed activity that will support service users to participate in opportunities & therefore enabling them to become more involved in their community. The time you share with a person can make a huge difference in improving their feelings of confidence, self esteem & social acceptance. There is also an opportunity to participate in group activities. Volunteers meet the matched individual in community settings. To get involved contact GAMH for an application pack ideally by email or telephone. HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED? If you are interested in this opportunity please get in touch with us using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can register your interest directly using the Register Interest facility. If you do not receive a response within [5] working days, please contact the Volunteer Centre. [The next step is to make arrangements for an application pack to be sent by post.] It generally takes around [2 – 3 months] after you contact us to get you started.
