About Opportunity

The Social Activity Assistant helps tenants make full use of the communal lounge by assisting with a range of social activities e.g. games and craft sessions, lunch clubs etc. Working with the scheme manager, tenants and other volunteers, tasks can include: -helping to plan and organise social activities. -preparing the communal lounge for social activities -preparing and serving food and refreshments -socialising with tenants both individually and in groups. Times are flexible and negotiable with the scheme manager.

Expenses Detail

We pay a mileage of 39.2p per mile up to 15 miles from the scheme, 30 miles in total per claim. Volunteers fill out a claim form and we pay by BACS. Trains, buses etc are reimbursed in full also.
